Water Entry Team

W.E.T. Team

Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue, Water Entry Team (WET) consists of highly skilled firefighters trained and equipped to provide rescue in water environments within Washoe County. This includes specialty training for rescues in rivers and creeks, ponds and lakes, and ice. In addition to rescue, the WET members assists with flooding events, evidence recovery, water hazard removal, and animal rescue in water.
