TM Firefighter Foundation to Host Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser at The Hideout Lounge

Community event supports cancer awareness and brings local firefighters and residents together

RENO, Nev. (October 13, 2026)— Truckee Meadows Firefighter Foundation and Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue (TMFR) is inviting the community to join its Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraiser on Oct. 14 at The Hideout Lounge in Reno.

The event will bring community members and local firefighters together to support breast cancer awareness and recognize those impacted by cancer. Funds raised will benefit Moms on the Run, a local nonprofit that supports individuals and families affected by cancer.

Public T-shirts are available in white and will be sold while supplies last. Donations are also welcome and can be made through the TM Firefighter Foundation at @tmfirefighterfoundation or by cash or check.

The fundraiser reflects TMFR’s commitment to supporting the community beyond emergency response and connecting residents with causes that make a difference in the lives of local families.
