Contact UsTruckee Meadows Fire and Rescue is part of a regional TRIAD hazmat team including the city of Reno and Sparks Fire. The TRIAD hazmat team provides a coordinated response to any hazardous materials leak, spill, or condition that threatens the public and/or the environment in Washoe County. Truckee Meadows has two hazmat stations to respond to these incidents in an efficient timely manner, Station 44 in the north valleys and Station 33 in south Reno.

Truckee Meadows was instrumental in implementing the regions first tox medic program to help provide emergency medical care to individuals exposed to hazardous materials.
The TRIAD Chiefs meet Quarterly to discuss and approve items in relation to the Regional Hazardous Materials Response team, including such topics as operations, training, and financial matters.
